Yapak/Winter Wool is on the many steps to making a carpet in villages in western Turkey. The weavers are members of the DOBAG carpet weaving collective. Screened at the Middle Eastern Studies Annual Meeting and the Society for Visual Anthropology Film Festival at the American Anthropological Association Annual Meeting.
A Wedding in the Yuntdag, an ethnographic film based on footage collected in villages in western Turkey. Winner of the Student Award of Excellence by the Society for Visual Anthropology in 2004. Screened at the Middle Eastern Studies Annual Meeting and the Society for Visual Anthropology Film Festival at the American Anthropological Association Annual Meeting and numerous colleges and universities including Bilgi University in Istanbul, Boston University, Hampshire College, Indiana University, etc.
